Community regeneration, Scunthorpe

Henry Boot has a long history of working in partnership with local authorities and social landlords to deliver housing improvement schemes across the north of England.

We delivered over £144m of improvements for Yorkshire residents under the Decent Homes programme, modernising over 13,000 properties in an 8-year period, and also constructed the first new build council housing in Sheffield for over 20 years.

We have long term relationships with North Lincolnshire Homes, St Leger Homes of Doncaster, Eastlands Homes and the Southway Housing Trust, and have recently delivered a range of internal and external refurbishment projects for our social housing clients.

We also have significant experience in delivering upgrade works to non-traditional dwellings including high rise tower blocks, Wimpey No Fines, BISF, REEMA and Airey properties.

We work closely with local people, schools and community groups to ensure that our construction activities have minimal impact on the day to day workings of the community, and are proud to have achieved a number of Considerate Constructors Awards for our work in this field.

We are pleased to have delivered social housing schemes for:

ASRA Housing Group, Barnsley MBC, Berneslai Homes Ltd, Bolsover District Council, Eastlands Homes, Manchester City Council, North East Derbyshire District Council, North Lincolnshire Council, North Lincolnshire Homes, Rotherham 2010, Rotherham MBC, Sheffield City Council, Sheffield Homes, Southway Housing Trust, St Leger Homes of Doncaster, Weaver Vale Housing Trust, Yorkshire Housing
