£1.65m new build Education Centre in the grounds of Chesterfield Royal Hospital, incorporating two floors of classroom facilities, offices, catering services and library.

The project was initially due to complete in 37 weeks, but this was extended to 46 weeks due to the discovery of an existing water main early into the contract, which had to be moved before works could progress.

Additional design and value engineering exercises were undertaken to help minimise the financial and time impacts on the programme, and the project was handed over 3 weeks earlier than the revised 46 week period.
