Over £62m of properties refurbished over a 5-year framework, bringing over 5100 houses up to the Decent Homes standard. Internal works included upgrades to kitchens, bathrooms, heating, windows, doors rainwater goods, re-pointing and chimney repairs. Two schemes to modernise non-traditional Airey houses were also undertaken.

One Gold and Two Silver Considerate Constructors awards, as well as runner up in ‘Most Considerate Site 2010’ awards for work in the Catcliffe and Ulley areas.

High levels of community involvement including repair works to a local church, new kitchens for a Methodist chapel and local Residents Association, flood repair work to a local community centre, holiday clubs and involvement in Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food campaign.

Local workforce strongly represented on the scheme, including 12 Construction JobMatch trainees.
