Arboretum Primary School project complete - 08/02/12
Henry Boot Construction’s Eastern Division has just completed a multi-million pound extension and refurbishment project at Arboretum Primary School, Derby.
The 44-week project involved the creation of additional classrooms and extensive refurbishment of the existing school building, delivered over a number of phases throughout 2011.
The project was delivered for Derby City Council with HBC taking over the build in April – the scheme was initially started by Rok Construction.
Staff and pupils are enthralled with their new building, and baked a cake for the site team to thank them for their approachability and hard work on the scheme.
“We have worked together with Arboretum to deliver this project over a number of different phases, interacting with live areas of the school on a number of occasions. Receiving the thanks of the school makes it all worthwhile, and I have to say the cake was delicious!”
