Ska Accreditation for Henry Boot Construction – 17/12/10
Henry Boot Construction can now offer the services of a Ska Accredited Assessor, which will help drive sustainability in design and build and fit-out projects.
Sally Jackson, currently working as a Planner on the St Leger Decent Homes project, completed the RICS course this week and is now fully trained in assessing the environmental performance of fit-out projects, providing guidance on making improvements and benchmarking performance against other similar projects.
As a contractor, having an in-house Ska Assessor helps make the design, specification, procurement and construction practices more sustainable and demonstrates a real commitment to putting sustainability at the heart of all business practices.
Sally and her colleague Philip Lambourne are also trained Code for Sustainable Homes assessors.
