Henry Boot Construction appointed to Education and Skills Funding Agency’s (ESFA) £5bn school building framework – 24/11/17

Henry Boot Construction has secured a number of places on the Educational and Skills Funding Agency’s latest school building framework.

The four-year framework is split into three value bands (high, medium and low value) across 22 lots and Henry Boot Construction has been appointed to deliver schemes in the medium value which is intended for projects between £4.5m and £12m.

We have secured work on our three targeted lots in the medium value band, allowing Henry Boot to cover the North East and Yorkshire, East Midlands and the North West regions.

The framework starts in December 2017 and can be utilised by providers of educational services to deliver new schools, academies, university technical colleges, sixth form colleges, further colleges and other educational facilities.

The new framework replaces the ESFA’s previous National and Regional Contractors Framework.

“We are extremely pleased to have secured a place on lots across our full operational area on the Education and Skills Funding Agency’s new school building framework. This will allow us to utilise off-site manufacturing solutions and promote the use of Building Information Modelling in a collaborative environment whilst supporting our sustainable business strategy. We are looking forward to working with the ESFA and our wider consultant team and supply chain partners to deliver some truly outstanding school buildings.”
