Henry Boot Construction have won Team of the Year Award for the University of Derby, St Helena campus project at this year's EEM Building Communities Awards (BCA) ceremony.

The EEM BCA Awards celebrate the professionalism, excellence and innovation sitting at the heart of the region's construction and housing community.

The awards hosted in Nottingham helped to raise funds for Dementia UK with the money going towards recruiting and training an Admiral Nurse to help families coping with Dementia in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The event raised £28,000 for Dementia UK which Henry Boot Construction was happy to be a part of.

These awards recognise achievements within the housing and construction industry and acknowledge the significant contributions social housing providers, contractors and manufacturers are making to our communities. A spokesperson for EEM said, "We would like to congratulate all this year's award recipients and wish them many more years of continued success."

"Our project with the University of Derby was a great example of collaborative working at its best. The whole team really gelled and worked well together and I was delighted that the team received this award. They really deserve it."
