Henry Boot Construction’s Managing Director Simon Carr and National Chair of the National Federation of Builders (NFB) was proud to present this year’s Considerate Constructors Scheme’s 2016 National Site Awards which took place in London on Tuesday 26 April 2016.

This year marks the biggest ever awards with thirteen ceremonies taking places across the UK.  Thousands of sites register with the scheme each year, a testament to the industry’s commitment to improving its image and creating a better impression for now and the future.

These prestigious awards are separated into bandings which are based on the projects value.  The four bandings are:

  • less than £500k
  • £500k to £5m
  • £5m to £10m and
  • £10m and over

The awards consist of bronze, silver and gold together with one gold award winner also being presented the title of Most Considerate Site and Most Considerate Site runner-up awards given to those gold award winners considered for this title.

“The 2016 National Site Award winners have made a major contribution in helping the scheme achieve its aim of improving the image of construction.  Irrespective of the level of award, all of you are winners and I add my sincere congratulations to all of you.  What we must do now is continue to raise the bar of considerate construction and set an even higher benchmark to further improve the image of construction.”
