Henry Boot Construction’s site team on St Wilfrid’s were pleased to attend the fundraising evening for the St Wilfrid’s Centre on Friday 22 April 2016.  The evening featured BeVox a contemporary community choir, a raffle and an auction run by Tony Currie, a Sheffield United legend together with a ‘pie and pea’ supper.  The event was held at the Platinum Suite, Bramall Lane.

BeVox was formed in September 2010 initially with three small singing groups in Wakefield, Sheffield and Nottingham.  The choir has now grown to over four hundred singers and has helped raise over £40,000 for numerous charities.

“The HBC site team would like to thank St Wilfrid’s for a fantastic evening at Bramall Lane. We were entertained by BeVox, a local choir singing a medley of hits and classics. The evening was a huge success for St Wilfrid’s raising much needed funds for the homeless charity to continue their important work.”

“On behalf of St Wilfrid’s Centre I would like to thank you very much for your support of our recent Charity Evening at Bramall Lane when BeVox performed for us so beautifully. Together with sales of tables/tickets, the auction and raffle, your generosity helped us raise over £9,000, which is brilliant. Thank you for all your support on the night and for your ongoing support for St Wilfrid’s Centre and the new residential, ‘Home at St Wilfrid’s’.”
