NASC TG20:13 Setting Policy beyond Best Practice – 12/06/15

At Henry Boot Construction we always strive to continuously improve our performance, and wherever possible, improve on best practice.

A recent example of this is our commitment to apply the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation TG20:13 best practice technical guidance and operational guidance on all our projects. Developed by the NASC, with support from the Health and Safety Executive, the UK Contractors Group and Construction Industry Training Board, TG20:13 provides a standard for traditional tube and fitting scaffolds to help the industry manage safety risks effectively.

Henry Boot Construction company policy commits us to using scaffolding subcontractors who operate the NASC TG20:13 requirements and therefore industry best practice. This commitment was developed further to a significant training investment to bridge improvements over the previous standards to accommodate TG20:13 and secure compliance.

“As part of Henry Boot Construction Limited’s drive to raise standards, we are delighted to have developed company policy which goes beyond best practice in terms of ‘working at height’. This reinforces our commitment to continually improve our business processes.”
