Henry Boot Construction completes work on Phase 1 at Fountain Court, Doncaster – 10/07/15

Construction of the first phase of 13 self-contained environmentally sustainable office units at Fountain Court, Doncaster International Business Park for Workpods Ltd (part of the Prospect Property Group) is complete.

The 1,450 – 6,100 sq ft self-contained units are constructed of a masonry structure under a mono-pitched roof, with insulated masonry cavity walls finished with profiled powder coated metal cladding and sustainable wood. The units benefit from having a BREEAM “Very Good” energy rating, double glazed windows, LED lighting, security barrier entry system and a heat recovery ventilation system to some areas.

The business park site was previously owned by the Ministry of Defence and home to RAF Finningley’s parade ground and barracks before the air base was closed and redeveloped as Robin Hood Airport and Business Park in 2005.

The project has been part financed by the European Union attracting £2.488 million from the European Regional Development Fund Yorkshire and Humber ERDF Programme 2007-2013. The European Regional Development Fund is one of the funds established by the European Commission to help local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which support local business and create jobs.

“Site visitors have commented on the excellent standard of workmanship and design for all the units and congratulated everyone involved in the project for this.”
