Henry Boot Construction complete new laboratory and office facilities for Smithers Viscient – 11/09/14

Smithers Viscient

Henry Boot Construction’s Eastern Division has just completed new laboratory and office facilities for Smithers Viscient, a specialist environmental testing company with branches around the world.

Smithers Vincient performs environmental and consumer safety research and regulatory services for the crop protection, pharmaceutical, industrial chemical, and the consumer product industries.

The redevelopment of the existing National Milk Records office in Harrogate included a mix of analytical laboratories and controlled environmental rooms, covering 15,700 sq ft creating a state of the art facility.

Work started on 20 May 2013 and was completed on schedule on the 21 July 2014.

“The site team deserves particular praise for their competence, approachability and responsiveness.  These attributes were essential when converting a 60 year old building into modern laboratories.  Regular progress meetings, supplemented by detailed and well- presented progress reports ensured we were kept fully informed.  I have found Henry Boot Construction to be a professional partner for our project”.
