Project Managers make it to CIOB Construction Manager of the Year Awards – 14/08/14

Steve Green
Matt Clarke
Construction Manager Of The Year

Two of our Project Managers Steve Green and Mat Clarke have both made it through to the CIOB’s Construction Manager of the Year Awards 2014.  Confirmation of their success came following intense interviews which took place in London.

Steve, a Senior Project Manager with the Eastern Division, was responsible for managing the design and build project for Bifrangi in Lincoln which will house an enormous 70 tonne Schuler Press from Weingarten in Germany.  The press will be unique in the UK and represents only the second of its kind in the world.

Mat, also a Project Manager for the Eastern Division, was responsible for managing the design and build project at Graham Solley Sports Pavilion located in the north of the city and part of Sheffield Hallam University’s Sports Park. The project included a new two-storey pavilion, 3G synthetic rugby and football pitches, changing rooms and leisure facilities.

Steve and Mat will attend the presentation at the Marriott Grosvenor Hotel, London on 30October 2014.

“Both Steve and Mat had delivered complex projects to a very high standard and performed remarkably well under pressure at interview.  I am really proud of their achievements and wish them every success at the finals”
