HMP Moorland sewer main project awarded – 29/05/13

Henry Boot Construction will design and install a new sewer main at HMP Moorland (Open) Prison, providing over 1.5km of pipework and pumping stations to the site at Hatfield, near Doncaster.

The existing pump station and sewerage treatment plant will be decommissioned once the new system is installed, in full accordance Ministry of Justice standards and security requirements.

Works will take place within the prison boundaries and adjacent the facility, on residential streets, highways and public bridleways.

Working closely with the public, the Ministry of Justice and prison staff, HBC’s Western Division will deliver the works with maximum security and minimum disruption to the surrounding environment.

HBC is a strategic delivery partner on the Ministry of Justice Strategic Alliance Framework, under which the works at HMP Moorland are being carried out.
