New laboratory project in Harrogate – 05/06/13

Henry Boot Construction’s Eastern Divison will provide new laboratory and office facilities for Smithers Viscient, a specialist environmental testing company with branches around the world.

HBC will undertake a full refurbishment and fit-out of the existing National Milk Records office in Harrogate, creating a state of the art facility for our valued client.

The Management Contract will see Henry Boot Construction purchasing the building, undertaking the refurbishment and leasing back the facility to Smithers Viscient over a defined period of time.

The 29-week project is due to be completed by November 2013.

Smithers Viscient performs environmental and consumer safety contract research and regulatory services for the crop protection, pharmaceutical, industrial chemical, and the consumer product industries.

“We are delighted to announce our success on this innovative project and look forward to working with the design team to deliver top-class facilities for Smithers Viscient in Harrogate.
“The increase in negotiated projects on our order book is testament to the quality product that we turn out, and the key to survival in today’s tough construction industry.”
