Second Ground Source Heat Pump project for Yorkshire Housing complete – 11/02/13

Tropo GSHP

Henry Boot Construction’s Renewables Division, Tropo, has completed a contract to install ground source heat pumps at a number of properties in North Yorkshire, for repeat client Yorkshire Housing.

Ten rural properties in Weaverthorpe, near Scarborough now boast ground source heat pumps designed to improve warmth levels and minimise the environmental impact of each home.

Tropo delivered a similar scheme for Yorkshire Housing in January last year and it proved a real success. A further ten homes were consequently deemed viable for ground source heat pumps and Tropo began installation work late in October.

The second phase took nine weeks to complete and the team finished all the work on time and on budget.

“This is the second time we have contracted Tropo to install ground source heat pumps for us and it has proved to be as successful as the first. Site management was first class with an excellent working relationship that also extended to our customers.”

Richard Bould, Project Officer for Yorkshire Housing
