Bifrangi screw press house contract awarded – 24/10/12

Henry Boot Construction’s Civil Engineering Division has just secured a contract to deliver a new screw press house for Bifrangi UK, marking an ‘historic day’ for the company’s Lincoln site.

The award of the multi-million pound civil engineering project is the culmination of lengthy negotiations and the upgrade is part of Bifrangi’s major investment in their UK facilities.

The design and build project is expected to start on site at the end of October, with a completion date in late 2013.

Bifrangi UK is a specialist hot steel forging company that manufactures and supplies parts to the UK and worldwide markets.

HBC have worked on the site previously, building a press house in the early 1980s, before Bifrangi took ownership of the Monks Road site.

“After many months of lengthy negotiations, I am pleased to announce that we have finally agreed a deal to construct the new press house facility in Lincoln. We look forward to working with Bifrangi UK on this exciting civils project.”
