HMP Lindholme infrastructure works awarded – 13/11/12

HMP Lindholme

Ministry Of Justice

Henry Boot Construction’s Western Division will provide a new water main and sewer connection to properties surrounding HMP Lindholme in Doncaster, as part of essential infrastructure upgrade works this winter.

Three existing pump stations will also be replaced and new connections laid to the Yorkshire Water sewage treatment works 1.8km from site.

The 40-week programme starts early December, and further information about the scheme can be found at www.lindholmeworks.co.uk.

The works were awarded under the Ministry of Justice Strategic Alliance Agreement Framework, which aims to deliver ‘better for less’ on prison and court projects over a six-year period.

“The works at HMP Lindholme will be delivered in close consultation with residents to ensure minimal impact on their day to day lives. As an Associate Member of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, and a key framework contractor for St Leger Homes of Doncaster, we are used to working in the local area and look forward to delivering these vital works for the Ministry of Justice.”
