Another apprenticeship created on Doncaster Decent Homes project – 14/05/12

Calum Price

Henry Boot Construction’s St Leger Homes of Doncaster team has just created another new apprenticeship in the town, offering training and experience to a local youth.

Calum Price started as a trainee joiner on our site in Stainforth recently, working under experienced HBC joiner Mick Holt, after seeing an advert in the site office window.

He is attending college three days a week, and topping up his experience on site on Thursday’s and Fridays.

We are currently working in Calum’s village undertaking Decent Homes upgrade works for St Leger Homes of Doncaster, and Site Manager Alan Reynolds and his team were happy to offer him the opportunity to broaden his skills.

“Calum is currently working towards his NVQ2 and this site experience will be invaluable to his course – he is hoping to progress onto NVQ3 soon and we will do everything we can to help him on his way.”
