Markham Vale drainage scheme awarded – 13/06/12

Markham Vale

Henry Boot Construction’s Civil Engineering department will provide surface and foul water infrastructure works for the latest phase of development at the 200 acre Markham Vale business and industrial park in Derbyshire.

Derbyshire’s largest ever regeneration project, by Junction 29A of the M1 motorway, is set to expand over the coming year and these works are essential to the development of Plots 6 and 7.

Markham Vale is one of a limited number of Enterprise Zones which has been selected to benefit from a potential pool of £300m of Enhanced Capital Allowances from the government this year.

Derbyshire County Council are working in partnership with Henry Boot Developments to ensure that the site is developed to its full potential, bringing regeneration to the former Coalite factory site.

“We are pleased to announce our success on the Markham Vale project and look forward to working with Derbyshire County Council to deliver these essential works for the next phase of development.”
