Delivering energy efficiency for North Lincolnshire Homes – 16/02/12

North Lincolnshire Homes Type 11

North Lincolnshire Homes Type 22

Henry Boot Construction’s Eastern Division has just been awarded a multi-million pound project to deliver energy improvements to properties in Scunthorpe.

The scheme is the first to be awarded in Lot 1 of the North Lincolnshire Homes 4-year contractors’ framework and was secured through a mini-competition tendering process.

The works will include insulated render, roofing and structural upgrades and external envelope improvements to 359 solid wall properties in the Crosby area of the town.

Up to 300 owner occupied properties could also be added to the scheme, which is part funded by the ERDF and CESP ‘Energy Innovation in Deprived Communities’ project.

Residents will benefit from improved thermal efficiency, greater environmental comfort and reduced energy bills once the works are complete.

The project will start shortly, for completion by November 2012.

“We are pleased to announce another project with our long term repeat client North Lincolnshire Homes. We are committed to delivering improvements for the residents of North Lincolnshire and look forward to working with the local community to maximise the positive impact of the works.”
