YORcivil Framework Contract awarded - 22/07/11

YORcivils

Henry Boot Construction’s General Works Division has just secured a place on the YORcivil North and East partnering frameworks, delivering civil engineering contracts throughout Yorkshire and the Humber up to £1m.

YORcivil is a 4-year framework agreement with a number of contractors delivering around £129m of civils projects for Local Authorities within the region.

The framework is aimed at promoting the principles of ‘Rethinking Construction’ and cutting out waste in the tendering process.

Projects include civil engineering schemes, bridges, structures, highways resurfacing, traffic management, road marking and barrier repairs, as well as minor building works – initial tenders are expected over Summer 2011.

“We are happy to have been selected as a partnering contractor on the YORcivil framework – achieving 100% compliance in our tender submission. We look forward to working with the Local Authorities in the near future.”

Gary Shirley, Regional Manager, HBC General Works Division
