TPAS Tenant Liaison Officer of the Year Nomination – 03/02/11

Catherine Spooner

A Henry Boot Construction Customer Care Co-ordinator has been shortlisted for the regional Tenant Liaison Office of the Year award by one of the longest-serving tenant organisations in Europe.

Catherine Spooner works on the St Leger Decent Homes project in Doncaster, and is responsible for looking after the site-based TLOs, co-ordinating all tenant liaison activities and delivering community improvement works in the local communities.

Her hard work has been recognised through the nomination by St Leger Homes of Doncaster, and if she is successful at the Northern region awards in Manchester on 11th February, she will automatically go through to the national competition in London.

The awards are in their fourth year and are organised by TPAS – Tenant Participation and Advisory Service – who work to support tenants and landlords to challenge, influence and control how their housing services should be delivered.

They recognise tenants’, social housing providers’ and contractors’ efforts to improve people’s lives, and use the awards process to share best practice in the sector.

“Catherine is a well respected member of the Customer Care Team and through her hard work, support and dedication, has been nominated for this prestigious award – we are very proud of her achievement.”
