A charity promoting ‘rights, responsibilities and respect’ for disabled people in Manchester has been given a new kitchen, thanks to Henry Boot Construction and their subcontractors.

Site Manager Trevor Hogan was working on the Eastlands Homes project nearby, when he heard that the Breakthrough Centre was in need of assistance - his team and their subcontractors offered their help, installing a new kitchen with anti-slip flooring, tiling and decoration.

The works were crucial for the centre as their previous kitchen was not suitable for wheelchair use - the new kitchen is fully accessible meaning everyone can enjoy the facilities.

“We are proud to support charitable activities like this. It is part of our commitment, throughout the company, to leave a lasting positive impact on the communities in which we work.”

Simon Carr, Managing Director
