Case Study - John Sales, Trainee Quantity Surveyor

John started working for Henry Boot Construction aged 20 as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. After passing A-Levels in Sport, Philosophy and Law, he decided construction was the way forward and applied to join our trainee scheme.

Currently four years into his five-year Quantity Surveying degree, John has worked on a wide range of projects under the supervision of senior quantity surveyors. His experience on a number of commercial, health and education sector contracts, as well as social housing, has seen him progress quickly to taking on his own projects.
