Case Study - Sally Jackson, Planner

s-jackson

Sally has been working as a Planner at Henry Boot Construction since 2007, primarily on the Decent Homes scheme for St Leger Homes of Doncaster.

Sally was given the opportunity to train as an accredited Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor after expressing an interest in developing her sustainable and green building credentials. Following this success, she broadened her experience by becoming a fully trained RICS SKA Assessor, providing energy saving and sustainable construction strategies for office fit-out contracts.

In an industry where sustainability and environmental awareness is of increasing commercial significance, Henry Boot Construction were happy to provide training to develop Sally and a number of her colleagues to strengthen their in-house capabilities and offer something different to their clients.

"I’m pleased to be given the opportunity to pursue this area of training and development, not only because it interests me, but because it demonstrates Henry Boot Construction’s commitment to continued professional development and sustainable building practices."
